DETROIT: Become Human

I worked in Quantic Dream for 8 month. I was first in an internship, then i got hired for a 3 month fix term contract, as game designer.

Relationship balancing

My greatest task on Detroit was to create, integrate and balance all the relationship gauges of the game.

I found every dialog or action that could have an impact on the characters, and integrated an UI for every relationship change.

The differents characters now remember what you've done, so be careful of what you say !

CATT

I integrated and tweaked a lot of contextual animation.

They are played during exploration phase, so the challenge here was to have the most natural blend possible between the motion kit and the animation.

OTHERS

I also worked on:

- all that the main character looks during exploration phase (it gives clues about what objects or which characters are important)

- the integration of the TV NEWS' infobar displayed during the game

- I did most of the camera's collisions during exploration phase, preventing a lot of camera's bug.

- Along with the camera's collisions, i sometime worked on the main character navigation.

- I wrote documents, about magazines, TV NEWS, etc.

- debugged a few scene, working on the QTE and finding solutions along with the game builder and the camera teams.
